Intersection of Two Solids(两立体相交)



If two solids intersect each other, it is interpenetration(or intersection).such combination is called intersection of solids,its surface produces one or more boundaryis called intersection curves.When the two solidsinterpenetration, it divide into three species basis of the geometric characteristics of solids:

1) Intersection of two polyhedral solids(see Fig.3-18a);

2) Intersection of a polyhedral solid and a curved solid (see Fig.3-18b);

3) Intersection of two curved solids (see Fig.3-18c).

In the following section of this chapter, we mainly discuss the intersection of a polyhedral solid and a curved solid and intersection of two curved solids.

两立体彼此相交即为相贯,这样结合的立体称为相贯体,在其表面产生的一条或多条分界线称为相贯线。根据立体的几何性质,两立体相交可分为三类:

1)两平面立体相交(图3-18a);

2)平面立体与曲面立体相交(图3-18b);

3)两曲面立体相交(图3-18c);

本节主要介绍平面立体与曲面立体相交和两曲面立体相交。
